Anzac Day marks the anniversary of the first major military action fought by Australian and New Zealand Army Corps during the First World War. Each year on April 25th we pause to take time to remember the lives of all Australians and New Zealanders killed whilst fighting for our country.
Anzac Biscuits have long been associated with Anzac Day and are an Australian classic. We hope you enjoy our take on nation’s favourite.
Preheat oven to 130°C and line a baking tray with baking paper.
Combine the dry ingredients together into a bowl.
In a separate bowl, combine the honey and macadamia oil in a small saucepan and warm. Add in the bicarb and water mix and stir. It should froth a little. Combine the wet ingredients together into a bowl.
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until well combined.
Form the mixture into tablespoon sized cookies and press firmly into balls so that they don't crumble apart.
Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until golden. We prefer them a little underdone but it is personal preference.
